Definition: A fireworks firing system is a device that uses an electric circuitry and current to ignite an electric match. The electic match in turn lights the firework's fuse. Firing systems may be hard wired, meaning there is an actual cable running from the control panel to the field modules, or may be wireless, utilizing an RF transmitter control panel (or remote) to comunicatre with field modules. Firing systems allow for remote firing of fireworks (from a distance) which provides a much greater level if saftey to the shooter.
